Budget Bedding – Under Slab / Fill Sand

A screened sand used for under slabs.

Can be used in horse arenas as a

cheap alternative to washed sands.

Brickies Loam 50/50 Mix

Used with cement powder to mix mortar

in laying of bricks

Pool Sand / Unwashed

Put under pool liners. Can also be used

to sweep between pavers & mixed with

concrete powder to fix cracks in concrete.

Off white Brickies Loam - Washed

Mixed with grey cement makes light grey

mortar. Combine with ivory cement produces

an off white mortar for laying bricks.

Plaster Sand - Washed

A fine washed sand used for grouting

rendering & masonry work. Can be used in

long jump pits & children’s sandpits.

River Sand - Medium - Washed

Mixed with a cement powder to build up

existing concrete. Can use as a top

dressing. Tilers use to bed tiles shower

trays & baths.

River Sand - Coarse - Washed

Some tilers use this instead of medium river.

A washed sand for horse arenas.

Sandpit Sand - Washed

White coarse sand for children’s sandpits.

Great for building sand castles.

Beach Sand

Fine white sand used with ivory cement will

make white mortar in brick laying.

Can be used for sandpits.

Kerb Sand - Washed

Course sand with cement added for kerbing.

Can be used for horse arenas.
